While I was there, nothing happened and they lived normally, but when I got home, they both immediately aged to teenagers and then continued aging normally from there! I know that it wasn't normal aging since one of the children was my own daughter who just had become a child and the other kid was way older than her, so they shouldn't have aged at the same time.
